High Peak Liberal Democrats
'It will be the opportunity for the Region to listen to the Constituencies. To understand what is needed from the Region, how we improve communication, coordination and support. We see this as the first of a regular set of meetings. Once we have the initial feed from the Constituencies we will be reporting back to the Regional Executive and putting together an initial work plan.
The invitation has been sent to each Constituency Chair with a suggestion that in the event that the Chair is unable to make the meeting either the Vice Chair or a nominated person to represent the Constituency comes along. It is important that every Constituency is represented.
We also hope that members from across the Region will take the opportunity to share their ideas with their Constituency Chair so that the ideas and suggestions can be collated and put onto the table on September 26th.
I am very much looking forward to the meeting and I know that Regional Chair Phil Smith and Regional Secretary Jonathan Sneade see the event as being very important and a chance to hear from all of our Constituencies
Best wishes
Vice Chair East Midlands Region
Phil Knowles
