High Peak Liberal Democrats
However over the last two years a majority of the Regional Executive have consistently complained about the editorial content and it has become increasingly difficult to remain enthusiastic.
It is always difficult to decide when is the best time to go as we are always preparing for an election and in the past loyalty to the party for which I have voted since 1959 and been a member of since 1983 has persuaded me to stay. The next main elections are not until May so I have decided to go now so that my replacement has time to bed themselves in.
I would like to thank the considerable number of members who have written to thank me over the period and I hope you continue to enjoy the East Midlands website.
Best wishes
Shirley
