Sex & Power 2015 is out today - our annual report with the Counting Women In coalition. It is a bittersweet celebration this year as progress has been made, more women are getting through the door but the glass ceiling remains intact. The lack of women in senior decision making roles is not just unjust it is wasteful. From the finance sector to politics, the media and the judiciary, we are missing out on valuable experience that could improve the way we make policy.
Think you know where power lies in the UK? How fast or slow do you think progress has been made? Find out in this year's report here
Nearly a 100 years ago women won the vote but if the protests at last week's Suffragette movie are anything to go by the need for gender equality remains an urgent priority.
We are proud to have work with a great team of democratic reform and feminists organisations to bring you this report. Together we will be sharing and promoting this report, will you help us? It takes less than a minute to forward this report onto a friend or to share on twitter
What are you doing still reading this email? Go read the report and have a proper look at who runs Britain.
P.S. After you've read the report, please check our joint project with the Voting Reform Team, #SuffragetteScreening, to find out how you can be debating democratic reform with supporters near you.
