High Peak Liberal Democrats
I like going to Regional Conference because it is a great way to meet lots of local Lib Dems. I find that they are much easier to get to and give a more "close knit community" feel that a National Conference sometimes doesn't.
For members in the Region it also gives an opportunity to attend, network, discuss policy, all without the additional costs of accommodation. When you include the opportunities to learn new skills and techniques on top of that, it's certainly excellent value in my book.
I'm really looking forward to seeing all the new faces at our first #libdemfightback Conference. We're already starting to win in by-elections across the country - it's events like Regional Conference that will enable us to pull together and carry on that trend!
