Amber Valley's AGM hosted a very enjoyable EU Referendum address and Q&A with two of the Lib Dems National EU Referendum Champions, former West Midlands MEP Phil Bennion and East Midlands Regional Vice Chair, Cllr Phil Knowles.
"The Liberal Democrats have the vitally important task of motivating the voters who are Pro Stay In to actually cast their vote on the day. We also need to work with those on the middle ground, the undecided, encouraging them to accept and support the case for us to remain at the heart of the EU.
We have to act now to protect the here and now and importantly, the future for generations yet to come. We know we have a fight on our hands. Members at Amber Valley are up and ready for the campaign and looking forward to the EU Referendum Rally in Derby on Saturday January 9th 2016." Cllr Phil Knowles
