Cameron visit to European Parliament must be an "open debate not backroom deal"
Commenting on the news that David Cameron will be visiting the European Parliament in Brussels on February 16th for a meeting with political group leaders, Liberal Democrat MEP Catherine Bearder commented:
"I'm pleased David Cameron will be making the case for his reforms to MEPs, but I strongly believe this must be an open meeting.
"The people of Britain and Europe deserve a public debate, not another backroom deal.
"Our future prosperity, security and environment are all at stake."
