Invite from the Regional Chair, Stuart Bray "Come To Conference" Saturday 27th Feb

I'm writing to invite you and the members of your local party to attend our Regional Conference on Saturday 27th February, in Kettering, Northants.

We're building up the Conference Program to provide an excellent training platform for all members, alongside some great speakers and the opportunity to debate policy and network with other friends across the region. We have some great workshops planned for Conference at the end of this month, a mix of personal development and political skills:

• Pam Edwards: Presentation Skills

• Peter Thompson: The Business Of Fund-raising for YOUR Campaign

• Mary Reid: "Find Your Lib Dem Voice" -How to Write for Publication

• Euro Referendum: Developing Messaging for the Doorstep

Speakers include:

• Janet Grauberg, Secretary of the Liberal Democrat Education Association, former advisor to Sarah Teather (the Lib Dem Education Minister):

"Education for Real Life - towards a Lib Dem education policy for 2020"

• Felix Dodds - Eco-Activist. Senior Fellow at the Global and instrumental in developing new modes of stakeholder engagement with the United Nations, particularly within the field of sustainable development. An interesting speaker given the stripping of green policies by our Conservative Government:

"Sustainable Development Goals and the Climate Change Agreement and the implications for the UK"
