Stronger IN - South Leicestershire

The Stronger IN Roadshow arrived in South Leicestershire over the weekend with Lib Dems playing their part. East Midlands EU Referendum Coordinator Cllr Phil Knowles along with Zuffar Haq and James Lindsey were in Harborough meeting and chatting with shoppers.

"People were very keen to chat and looking for facts and figures that will assist them in making their decision.

There are many undecided voters and it's important that we make every effort to explain the importance of keeping the UK at the heart of the EU‎, the many benefits that we enjoy as members of the EU and the real concerns for the future should we leave.

We need to ensure that the information we put to the public explains how the EU membership is directly beneficial to them, their family and friends.

We then need to deliver the facts that prove that leaving the EU would be, simply put, a mistake that cannot be corrected."
