Liz LeffmanIt's been another fantastic week here in Witney - we had over 600 volunteers signed in at HQ . By the end of Sunday we had knocked on more than 7,000 doors and delivered the entire constituency in two days.

There's been other good news too, on Friday, Adam Knight - one of the independent candidates in the by-election dropped out and backed Liz - saying "Liz has the momentum, she is the only one in a position to beat the Conservatives, that is why I am backing her."

We've also had visits from a number of high profile individuals. Tim Farron made his third visit of the campaign on Thursday, attracting widespread media coverage and putting an extra spring in the step of activists.

Nick Clegg, Paddy Ashdown, our Party President, Sal Brinton, Dick Newby our Leader in the Lords, Jane Bonham Carter and Tim Razzell and other Peers have joined us to campaign in the last few days.

We're fighting incredibly hard in this by-election, Liz is a fantastic candidate and we're getting a superb response right across the constituency - and it doesn't hurt that Labour and UKIP are nowhere to be seen.

The first votes have already been cast and there's just 11 days left to make a difference - so if you can come and help, even for a few hours, please do come. If you can't make it, please could you make some calls from home?

Thanks,

Jon
