Welcome to the latest in my series of tips and advice for Liberal Democrat members, which appear first in the email bulletin run by London Region for party members.
A few weeks back, tip #4 covered the special website available only to party members. There is one particular corner of that site which is so useful it is deserving of a tip all to itself: the online training section, called OSKAR.
This name stands for Online Skills and Resources and is a goldmine of online training and information. Its contents range from an online course in how to use the party's telephone canvassing tool through to a guide to what it is like becoming a local councillor.
To access this information, just go to the main party website, www.libdems.org.uk, login as a member at the top and then go to Members followed by OSKAR training.
