East Midlands Spring Regional Conference

One of things we are trying to do at Conference is give the opportunity to get information about the variouis organisations within the party. For Spring Conference we have the following stalls offering information to members:
ALTER - Action for Land Taxation and Economic Reform
Learn more about Land Value Taxation and its benefits to wealth distribution, public investment, housing,
the environment, economic recovery and sustainable growth. LVT is Federal Party policy as replacement for existing property taxes.
European Movement, East Midlands
Has the following objectives: Promote awareness of the European Union (EU), to disseminate a positive image of European Union and Britain's role in Europe, to campaign to remain a permanent member of the EU, to further the aims and objectives of the European Movement by undertaking relevant activities.
The Liberal Democrat European Group (LDEG) and Association of Liberals and Democrats in Europe (ALDE)
LDEG is a forum for Lib Dem Members to discuss and campaign on European issues.
LDEG provides campaign support for members, and argue that Britain is stronger and better off in the EU.
Candidates, Agents & Returning Officers
Information from the Regional Candidates Committee about taking part in roles that are crucial to the Region and winning elections!
