High Peak Liberal DemocratsGreen Liberal Democrat Conference 2018
Jubilee Campus of Nottingham University on 19th May 2018
30th Birthday Bash
The Green Liberal Democrats - celebrate their 30th Birthday this year! The Party`s environmental pressure group wants to welcome as many friends from Nottingham and the wider East Midlands area as can get to our birthday celebrations!
Former MP Simon Hughes opening the conference as the Keynote speaker (a role he performed back at the start in 1988) - but that's not all:
Our current spokesperson for Energy and Climate Change, Baroness Lynne Featherstone, will also be present, chairing some of the sessions, so the day will be packed with Party Luminaries - a day not to be missed!
There will be a number of other high profile speakers, including locally based writer and broadcaster, Penney Poyzer, Chair of Nottingham Good Food Partnership Ltd, a member of the Sustainable Food Cities Network, a campaigner and activist to increase the sustainability of local food systems.
Come along on the day to help the Party look forward
to "greening" Liberal Democracy for the NEXT 30 years.
And save some energy for a celebratory meal at the De Vere Hotel on the campus on the Saturday evening! For further information about the conference, contact : keith.melton10@gmail.com
Look forward to seeing you all!
