This news story, slipped out on a Friday afternoon at the end of a busy week, should have received much more attention than it did. Brexit means that from 1 January the UK will be locked out of a global satilite navigation system that British firms have held a leading role in developing. One of many tragedies of EU withdrawal discovered only when it is too late.
