Help shape the future environment of the Derbyshire DalesThe pandemic has changed our lives in a way we never imagined possible. Everyday routines are being disrupted. When the crisis is over, do we want to go back to the way it was, or are there things we would like to see changed?
As David Attenborough stated in his recent BBC documentary, Extinction, 'We are at a turning point, what happens next is up to every one of us'. We need to act now to save the planet. The State of Nature report said the UK was "among the most nature-depleted countries in the world". We cannot sit back and expect other countries to heal the damage to nature - we must reverse the trend here too.
Derbyshire Dales Climate Hub is a newly formed environmental group. We have designed a questionnaire to find out what changes local people would like to see, and what they might care to do, to improve our local environment. What changes could positively improve the local economy, residents' health, and the wellbeing of generations to come. How might we limit the damaging effects of climate change and help nature recover.
Please join in! Do the questionnaire and help promote it. Here is the online link: https://freeonlinesurveys.com/s/HMgZ4FfR
