Boardwalk now a 'no go' area
As we warned Ashbourne residents in a recent Focus newsletter, the arrival of a 'shroud' of Heras fencing usually means that another amenity is about to be lost.
This has proved to be all too true for the boardwalk at the southern end of the Fishpond, adjacent to the Memorial Gardens.
A popular spot for all ages to sit on the bench and feed the ducks, this whole area is now fenced off.
I wonder if we are to be informed as to the reason behind this ?
