We've waited long enough says Lib Dem equalities spokesperson Wera Hobhouse MP.
Today she tweeted "LGBT+ people are being let down by this Government. Conversion therapy is abusive and harmful.
It should have been banned many years ago.
There can be no more delays.
No more empty promises.
Government must introduce a ban on conversion therapy *now*", following her remarks in Parliament:
Three Conservative Prime Ministers over 5 years have each promised to ban LGBT conversion 'therapy'. But still, there is no ban.
