Interesting shift in Labour Leader Starmer's Position on Europe

Before the General Election, Keir Starmer was regarded as the leading Shadow Cabinet Member supporting the UK remaining in Europe.

But now he's become Labour Leader, he's adopting a rather different stance, according to a report in the Daily Mail 23rd May 2020: 'Keir Starmer insisted the Brexit issue is 'over' today as he dismissed the idea of campaigning to rejoin the EU.

The Labour leader said the only focus now was 'what sort of a deal we have with the EU and what sort of deals we have with the rest of the world'
