On Thursday 9th November a by-election will be held in High Peak Borough Council's Limestone Peak ward, triggered by the resignation of the sitting Conservative councillor.
Here's Vince addressing the considerable crowds at the #stopBrexitManchester march. This is what he had to say. We are in Manchester because the Conservative Party are here and we want them to hear our voices - to tell Theresa May and Boris Johnson that we are not 'citizens of nowhere', but people who are proud to be British, and proud to be European.
The Devolution agenda looks almost dead in the water to the eagle-eyed journalist looking for the first hint of a Government U-turn on the once flagship Conservative Party policy. 6 months on from the metro-mayor elections the big tests of devolution look to be too hard for its students. Liberal Democrats have passed new policy to stand up for bereaved families and kinship carers, so more young people can grow up in a loving, stable home.

The Liberal Democrats are committed to rebuilding the trust and compassion that the UK was once known for. We believe that our country has a responsibility to support those in need, no matter where they are in the world.
